 Can I adopt or get some cats for a party or my child just say a movie?

The answer is no. The cats are forever animals part of your family. 

Can I drop off this newest litter while my cat keeps having liters cause I won't get them fixed.

The answer is no. We are a small organization and we want to help but you as a owner need to be part of the solution please get your cats fixed.

We don't offer any vet services nor do cats come with any shots.

Adoptions process is this. You call us up. You say you need a cat and then we ask a series of question. One of the 1st question is do you live in the area we service the service the South side of Chicago on the East Side we. We do not go on the Westside and we do not go past downtown. Then we ask do you have all the things you need when we bring the cat to you so that the cat can be living in your home successfully . What a cat needs is 2 bowls. One for food and a water bowl. The cat needs a bed any bed even a small pillow is good enough.  Then you need to have food for the cats and we ask that you have a starter bag meeting a 6 pound bag of food ready.. If the cat you're adopting is a kitten get kitten food if the cat you are adopting is a full grown cat then regular cat food. And if the cat is a senior cat then we asked you to have a senior bag of food. Now the brand that you are looking for depends on you. While many people like expensive food but basically any cat food is good enough. The cat that you get usually eats regular cat chow or 9 lives.  Cats will need a cat litter any size is fine and the brand is fine. You should have a place where you're going to take the cat to get their initial shots which can range depending on where you go we usually bring our cats to the Hyde Park Animal Hospital which is on stony island.  Then then you also should have an idea if you are going to chip the cat chipping the cat makes it easier for you to find the cat later so it doesn't get adopted again or be sent to a kill shelter where you may not be able to find it again obviously. Finally a Carrier and/or a color a color and leash. Cats usually do not need at leash they need a harness. Some cats can be walked on a leash regular like you would do a dog cats need to be taught how to walk on leashes so if you are a person who already has a dog and you want to teach your cat to walk on a leash that is a thing that you have to teach. When you have all those things either you can show it to it when we have the last visit to drop off the cat or you can just send us pictures those pictures shouldn't match with the house that we go to so if you have interior pictures of an apartment and then we go and it's of a different place than we were going to cancel the adoption so if you are buying this for a gift once again look at the facts we do not adopt for gifts that person should know for a fact they are getting an animal so if this is a birthday gift and this is for your child because they saw a movie we are going to apologize especially if it's their birthday on that day and then take the cat Animals are forever family members so we don't want them to come back when the cat bites your child.  We have a policy where we sign off so meaning that in our contract when you sign off for the the cat it is in the contract that you understand that there are no shots given to the cat prior to and that the cat is as is. None of our cats are adopted that are sick. We take sick cats to the doctor when they are sick. When you pick up cats, sometimes they do have issues that we don't catch because we don't do vet services here. So if you adopt the cat and you find out 2 weeks from now that the cat has some uncurable disease or has some cold or hurt themselves and we didn't see it. You signed a contract that states you already understand that it is as is animal we do that for a reason why we sign these contracts because we don't have vet services here.
